"Order was fine, but the reminders were a bit much"
My order from hobby-genki arrived okay and thankfully the item wasn’t damaged, but the box had a bit of a dent and the padding inside felt light. I was expecting the packing to be a little more secure, especially for something collectible. Also, the reminders felt kind of aggressive, like they were really pushing me to respond/pay/check things right away. Overall it ended up fine, but the whole experience could’ve been a bit smoother.

I ordered a figure and it showed up without any issues. The tracking updated properly, it was packed really well, and the payment process felt secure enough. So yeah... I’d be happy to buy from Hobby Genki again

"Really easy ordering experience"
I had a quick question about my order, so I messaged Hobby Genki, they got back to me fast. It didn’t feel like one of those copy-and-paste replies either. They actually looked into it and explained what was going on. The whole thing just felt easy, you know? No stress, no waiting around for days wondering if anyone would answer. I’ve ordered from other shops before where replies take forever, so this was a really nice change. I’d definitely buy from them again.

"Arrived, but the updates were frustrating"
My preorder did eventually show up, so I’ll give them that, but the update system felt like it works when it wants. I had to keep checking on it myself because the info was slow and not super helpful. Not the worst experience, just a little stressful while waiting.

"Worth checking, but don’t skip comparing"
I’ve bought from Hobby Genki before, and their prices can be decent here and there, but they’re not always the cheapest option. Some figures seem like a fair deal at first, then once shipping gets added, it ends up close to other shops anyway. I still check their site when I’m looking for something, but I always compare prices before buying. I also had one moment where I sent a message and it kind of felt like nobody actually read what I wrote, which was a little frustrating.

My tracking updated like it was supposed to, and the delivery showed up when they said it would. It wasn’t absolutely perfect, but there were no major issues, so I’m happy with it overall.

"Decent prices, but shipping adds up"
The prices are okay, umm, but the shipping cost kind of takes away from the deal. It still might be worth it depending on what you’re buying, but I wish the shipping was a bit cheaper.

"Way faster than I expected"
I ordered from hobby-genki the whole thing moved way quicker than I thought it would. I got the confirmation fast and then the updates started coming through too, so I wasn’t just sitting there wondering, anyway, it was just really smooth. Super easy process overall, and I’m really happy with how fast everything was. I’d definitely order again

As a figure collector, I get a little picky about preorder sites, but Hobby Genki made the whole payment process really easy. I liked that I could choose between PayPal and card, and the pay later/preorder option was explained clearly enough that I didn’t feel unsure about it. I had to update a few details on my account it was painless. I logged in without any trouble, my orders were right where I expected them to be, and nothing acted weird, which, sadly, isn’t always a given these days. I ran into an issue with my order, and it was a bit frustrating at first. Compared to some other places I’ve ordered from, the communication felt slower and not as clear as I would’ve liked. That said, support did get back to me and they eventually fixed everything, so I do appreciate that. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, just not as smooth as it could’ve been.

"Refund came through, but I felt brushed off"
I had to cancel once, and while the refund did come through without any real issue, it took a few days. What bothered me more was that I felt kind of dismissed during the process, like my question wasn’t really important. It worked out in the end, but the experience could’ve been handled a bit better.
